Production Control Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting and monitoring the incoming production changes:
- provide assistance to Change Requestors to raise Change Order (CO)
- monitor and handle incoming CO status, answer enquires from Change Requestors including developers, users and IT related parties
- update Change Calendar and facilitate post-implementation change review
- responsible for performing risk impact assessment of production changes:
- filter CO to ensure they are following change process
- assess the risks and impacts of CO
- schedule planned and urgent changes within Production Control / Data Centre Operations
- check documentation and procedures, escalate problematic CO to Change Manager and forwards CO to system manager for business approval
- responsible for coordinating high risk changes evaluation:
- coordinate high risk change requests to Change Control Board (CCB) for assessment, facilitate CCB meetings and prepare change details for evaluation
- responsible to following up and reporting Changes. Tasks like:
- follow up the status of production changes
- follow up failed changes and update records, consolidated daily, weekly and monthly change report.

Requirements:
- a university degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- sound knowledge in ITIL Service Management Model
- three years experience in ITIL service management practices
- hands-on experience in system implementation
- knowledge in network operations, system management, database administration
- good organisational and problem solving abilities as well as good communication and interpersonal skills
- a sound knowledge of project management and relevant experience will be an advantage
