Technical Lead - Systems Assurance

Responsibilities:

• develop or review test plans, scripts, cases and scenarios based on business requirements to ensure sufficient test coverage
• develop and maintain test schedule to meet project timeline
• allocate, supervise and mentor test team members to conduct test activities
• execute test cases, report test results and provide regular test progress reports
• report defects and coordinate review and resolution of defects with all stakeholders
• report and monitor on system quality and control test progress against defined test plan and schedule
• ensure the processes is executed to meet the pre-defined objectives and assure the quality of the deliverables
• drive continual improvement of test process and test practices
• work closely with business users, vendors, Business Analyst and development team to deliver test projects

Requirements:

• have a diploma/ degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or relevant discipline
• have minimum of 6 years experience in Quality aspect (software development or QA) with 2-3 years supervisor experience
• have solid hands-on experience in test planning and deliver test projects.
• have good knowledge on Web Application testing or SoA testing
• be familiar with SDLC, QA methodology and measuring techniques
• be familiar with System Assurance Tools and Method. Working knowledge of one or more industrial brand name testing tools, such as Quality Centre, Quick Test Professional, and Rational Functional Tester is an advantage.
• be a fast learner and a self-motivated team player with strong management and communication skills
• have good command of written and spoken English.
• be fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese and work experience with Chinese counterpart is preferable
