Data Analyst

Responsibilities:
- provide professional judgment and support to technical solution design group in solution identification to meet expanding or changing business requirements
- defines and develops functional and detailed design specifications according to business solutions
- design and develop analytics application based on the requirement specification and high level architecture design specification from architecture team
- generates, tunes, and configures the database to fit application software as necessary
- conduct system design review and software inspection to ascertain conformance to best design and coding practices on system deliverables
- conduct development testing on new/changed applications; and prepare technical documentation and development test report

Requirements:
- have a university degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related studies
- have at least 2 years hands-on software development experience using VB script / VB.NET / ASP.NET / C# / C++ / Visual Stuio 2003/2005
- have experience on database stored procedure development on MSSQL Server is highly desirable
- have hands-on SQL tuning experience is an advantage
- have software development experience in very large database applications is an advantage
- work closely with System Assurance Section, IT Infrastructure and Operation Services Department
- work under pressure within a tight schedule
- be proactive and has a can-do attitude
